Projects or is it Obsession?

Is there a difference?
I still think of ditching work for another few waves
the warmth of the sun on my skin...
As if this is my last chance to have these types of moments

I still have those obsessions
Like a conviction to what I find quenching to my Soul,
Yeah earning the bucks might be necessary...
But the truth is, Freedom has no price

My passion for these activities that satisfy my Inner Truth
Still burn... but I now temper it with responsibility
Luckily, my job kinda blurs these lines alot of the times
So my rebelliousness can still act out against the Norm

And I look to those that also Live their Truth
and Honor them for their commitment to fulfilling their potential...
I may not ever be The best at any one skill,
But I love being able to enjoy it ALL :-)

Found the guy who made my first board...
The green one... I think it's still in my garage (I hope).
It was a board I paid 50 bucks for and found out it was HOT
Got it from some local Newport/HB guys when I first moved down to the beach...
A set-up I survived, proving my toughness & stealthness & backing from my Crew! :-)

Stoked to see Pete Schroff is still spinning his trippy art stuff,
My oldest best friend from 3rd grade is doing the same business.
I hope i can get back into playing with clay & paints,
Maybe thats a "resolution" I can put into action this semester :-)
